Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta presented their new ready-to-wear collection F21 during Paris Fashion Week yesterday.
Despite the fact that the pandemic has turned the fashion shows into a virtual spectacle, the duo of Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta have managed to overcome this barrier, surprising us with their new ready-to-wear Fall 2021 collection. After suffering a short period of demotivation, as the designers commented, during the creative process, they have returned to the fray, taking advantage of the situation and reinventing themselves.
In this way, they have managed to create unique pieces in which the deconstruction of typical shapes is a priority, including empty spaces in the garments, thus making them more artistic and adaptable to the human body.
In addition, Eckhaus and Latta opted for optical effects to achieve a unique result. They combined different fabrics such as black and white jacquard, psychedelic prints and quilted garments.
The colour palette was also important, with a predominance of sombre tones to reflect the mood of the designers.
It is a very complete collection in which even the smallest detail has been taken care of. We can say that it represents in a very practical way the reality that we are living right now, combining comfort and style in equal parts.
The collection will soon be available on the official Eckhaus Latta website.
