Haute couture riding with Gucci

References to equestrianism appear frequently in Alessandro Michele’s work at Gucci, and now he arrives with two new helmets.

References to equestrianism appear frequently in Alessandro Michele’s work at Gucci. Now the designer arrives with two new items – a visor and a helmet – that elevate equestrianism in the Italian brand’s purest style.

Equestrian references, dating back to the 1950s, continue to enrich Gucci’s collections in new and unexpected ways. On this occasion, Alessandro Michele has designed two helmets that combine functionality and aesthetics.

The first helmet is a visor that stands out for its black leather and impressive horsehair. This piece has no characteristic Gucci motif, because the harness of the visor simply speaks for itself.

The second item is a velvet helmet inspired by those used for riding competitions. This is completed with a leather chin strap and a subtle red satin bow on the back and branded buckles.

You can now get your hands on these two exclusive Gucci pieces on the Gucci website.
