Études presents its FW23 collection at Paris Fashion Week and focuses its narrative on city life. In the capital, ‘le centre ville’ is a vital expression of togetherness, a signifier of connectivity.
The collection highlights materiality and iconography, and brings a new silhouette proposal that fuses elements of urban fashion and the structured elegance of tailoring. The colour palette ranges from powder pink and arctic blue to deep green, chocolate, grey, black and beige.
For the autumn/winter 2023 season, Études collaborated with Amsterdam-based Swiss artist Batia Suter. Suter’s practice focuses on reinterpreting and contextualising images through installation, collage and print publication.
Embracing the archetypes of the male wardrobe inextricably linked to city life, the collection has an industrial and handmade character, from raw-edged tailoring to distressed denim. Wool, nylon tights and dark satins meet tailoring.
