Christie’s auction house will be auctioning a collection of ALL Supreme box logos produced to date. The sale value is expected to reach $2 million.
For the time being, the private sale of “The Behind the Box: 1994-2000” is expected to reach $2 million, surpassing the 248 Supreme skateboard collection auctioned in 2019. Sources report that it is the first known complete archive of the coveted T-shirts. For her part, Christie points out that “poised to be the most valuable collection of Supreme material to ever be offered in a single sale.”
“The Box Logo Collection” has been compiled by James Bogart, 21, who began acquiring every launch of the @supremenewyork brand since 2014. Although almost everyone told him it would be impossible to collect all the shirts, Bogart traveled to every continent and its key cities to get them all.
According to the collector, the jewel in the crown is the 1999 WTAPS Box Logo T-shirt. It is rumored that only 30 exist and its value reaches $35 thousand.
