In their long-standing collaboration, designer and entrepreneur Victoria Beckham and fitness and lifestyle brand Reebok have once again brought together talent, creativity and heritage to create Drop Five. It’s a collection of clothing and footwear designed to take you from the gym to the street and beyond.
This new capsule reimagines some of the brand’s iconic pieces through innovative styles. Made from high quality natural yarns, woven and knitted, they offer performance pieces that move with your body and help you look and feel your best.
“For this collection, my idea was to put together a selection of pieces that meet the performance and lifestyle needs of my community. With Reebok’s expertise in sport and the unique style of the Victoria Beckham brand, we have designed a wardrobe that is as sophisticated as it is functional and can be worn at any time of the day,” says Victoria Beckham.
Off-white chalky tones continue to dominate alongside black and white, while soft pink and aubergine give a feminine feel. Referencing the concept of utilitarianism, the short bomber jacket inspired by the legendary MA-1 model and the backpack with pockets in green bring a vibrant energy to the collection.
The silhouettes take a minimalist and structured approach; something we can see in the running shorts, the short quilted jacket and the waterproof anorak. One of Victoria‘s favourite pieces is the Tennis dress. Accompanied by a built-in short, it features subtle slits and a sealed finish that flatters the figure and provides comfort and coverage. This is what allows players to move freely on and off the court.
This series is a coordinated three-piece set that brings a touch of simplicity and comfort to your workouts. The leggings feature ribbed details that flatter and enhance the silhouette, while the thick cotton sweatshirt is designed for post-workout wear. The garments are designed to be worn in sets, bringing the idea of uniforms to the world of sport.
Drop Five also finally unveils the new Zig Kinetica Victoria Beckham x Reebok; a reinterpretation of Reebok‘s iconic Zig model in combination with an archival reference of The London silhouette from 1984. This model comes in white, digital green and a hot pink hue, with suede leather detailing. Also new this season is the Rapide reimagined by Victoria Beckham with a large contrasting coloured logo embroidered on the heel of this retro running silhouette. Finally, the Club C will debut in white and cream, along with a phosphorescent version of the best-selling Bolton Knit.
