Feng Chen Wang brings her work back to us through Converse

Designer Feng Chen Wang (@fengchenwang) is once again collaborating with Converse (@converse) to pay tribute to its emotional and multidimensional aesthetic. Throughout her career, her purely conceptual work stands out, in which she gives, through fashion, a vision of the future thanks to a reflection of the past.

This time, the Jack Purcell Mid silhouette is the protagonist of this new collaboration in which dimensionality is expressed by an overlap. Wang’s association with Converse is already emblematic – remember the Chuck 70, ERX and the Pro Leather.

We first saw the Jack Purcell shoe on the badminton courts back in 1935. Now, Feng Chen Wang offers a more personal vision, using the Chinese characters that form his Mandarin name to create a dynamic layering system that produces a striking exaggeration. Arriving in two complementary color palettes, the collection is completed with a convertible cap and cross-body bag.

The Converse x Feng Chen Wang Jack Purcell Mid will be available worldwide on August 6th on the Converse website and in specific stores.
