Fila AW20 will take you up Everest

Fila’s new proposal for AW20 elevates the work of three London-based talents. The musicians GAIKA, GLOR1A and Shannen SP have been captured on the streets of London wearing the collection. The result: a multidisciplinary serie ready for the new season.

FILA AW20

Fila’s creative directors, Antonino Ingrasciotta and Josef Graesel have been inspired by archive images in the making of the garments. Thus, Fila AW20 is presented as a collection that pays tribute to different sports fans of the Italian sportswear house. This is the case of Reinhold Messner, the first person to reach the top of Mount Everest without oxygen tanks in 1980; the skiers and Mahnre brothers; and the legendary footballer Ingemer Stenmark.

The proposal features lightweight, padded utility parkas and windbreaks. A selection of polar fleece linings, sweatshirts, waistcoats and sports trousers complete the collection. The collection is presented in a range of colours that represent the firm’s heritage: red, white and navy blue. In addition, they have designed different knitted hats, scarves, hats and balaclavas with the characteristic “F” badge.

Fila AW20 has the collaboration of the musicians GAIKA (@gaikasees), Shannen SP (@shannensp_) and GLOR1A. These artists have been the protagonists of the campaign photographed in the streets of London.

Climbing Mount Everest may not be in your plans. Maybe it is. At least I have reconsidered it. Anyway, you can get hold of any of these clothes and wear them wherever you want this winter. The whole Fila AW20 collection is already available on the web.
