Fila celebrates its 110th anniversary with Y/Project

It’s not every day that you turn 110 years old in the fashion and sports industry, so to celebrate this anniversary in a special way, Fila has teamed up with one of the coolest brands of the moment, Y/Project, founded and creatively directed by Belgian Glenn Martens, for its spring/summer 22 collection.

Glenn Martens, positioned as one of the designers of the moment, has taken advantage of the brand’s 110th anniversary to reimagine some of its most iconic pieces, using its traditional Fila colours (red, blue and white) and turning them into true athleisure pieces of desire: “I think every look has its own story, and it’s important to give the brand a diverse and diverse look.”

What can we highlight from this collaboration? The brand’s iconic trousers reconstructed to emphasise the wearer’s movement and with buttons that allow you to decide how much of the logo you want to show, the functionality we can highlight in the details of the jackets and the jersey and velvet fabrics. Each nuance brings a fresh design to classic pieces, reshaping the conventions of sportswear.
