Fila, one of the Italian sportswear brands by excellence, has just taken to the Milan runway for the first time in its history.
For its debut in the fashion industry it has presented a collection that offers an intelligent mix of basic and simple pieces with elegant plaid outfits inspired by the famous clothes from tennis champion Björn Borg. Frankly sporting elements, such as T-shirts, trousers and joggings, coexist with more traditionally cut jackets. All this without forgetting the accessories, including the indispensable bob, and some knitwear and vintage shorts.
This decision to get on the runway stems from seeing how the collaboration with Gosha has elevated the company. “In fact, it all started with the collection we made in 2016 with Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy, when he came to show at Pitti Uomo. There was a real explosion there, which has encouraged us to continue along this path with other stylists and above all has strengthened us in the fashion sector,” said Barbara Mora, Fila’s global marketing director.

From Gosha, to Fendi and now on their own. The Italian brand directed by ex-adidas Originals – Josef Graesel and Antonino Ingrasciotta has entered into the Fashion System from the top, with a complete and solid collection.
Fila recently presented its collaboration with Liam Hodges, a sum of movements that make very clear the new intentions of the giant of sport.
