Fila has played its cards as far as the chunky shoes are concerned. With the Disruptor he had the battle won in the low price range, now he has decided to join two of the current trends in one product: chunky + collaborations.
The Italian company, based in Seoul, has revived the Mindblower model from its archives with the aim of consolidating its commitment to ugly-sneakers. But it has not done it in a simple way, for its launch it has allied itself with more than 40 projects and brands for each of them to reinterpret. Among the collaborations we can find: Sneaker Lab, 10 Corso Como (@10corsocomo), Kinkfolk, Han Cholo, Shinzo and so on up to 47.
Fila Mindblower | Collabs
The shoe went on sale in 1995 and stood out mainly for the deconstruction of the logo on the side. Its robust, even ugly appearance and its 90s look make the model a sure bet for the brand. There are collaborations for all tastes, but without a doubt one of the best is the OG that we don’t know if it will go on sale parallel to the collabs project.
As for the launch, it’s all a little confusing. It is known that there will be pop-ups with clothes to accompany the shoe. As to where we can find them in Spain or Europe is still a mystery :-/.
