The date, line-up and exact location have not yet been announced, but tickets for the 2024 edition of the festival are already on sale.
McFarland formalized the announcement through his social media. “It all started in solitary confinement for seven months,” McFarland explains in the video. “I wrote this 50-page plan of how it would take this general interest and demand in Fyre, and how it would take my ability to bring people together from all over the world to make the impossible happen.” You can watch the full video below in which he mentions concepts like “pop-ups and events around the world” leading up to the festival, in addition to the work in progress that is Fyre Festival: the Broadway Musical.
The first edition of Fyre Festival, which was co-founded by McFarland and Ja Rule, featured a lineup with prominent names in the music industry such as Pusha T, Lil Yachty, Kaytranada, Migos and Major Lazer. However, this year’s line up has not yet been revealed.
Those interested can purchase one of the first 100 tickets for USD 499 (about 462 euros) on the festival’s ticketing website. The location listed is “Caribbean Sea” and the date is stated as “scheduled for late 2024”, specifically December 6, although it is cautioned that this date is “subject to change”. The pre-sale pass for Fyre Festival includes a ticket to the event and VIP access to all Fyre-related “events, experiences and community.” The highest ticket price is $7,999 (€7,400).
