Closing Copenhagen Fashion Week, GANNI prepared to spread its wings and fly for its Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. This season, GANNI entered a revolutionary state, seeking its personal growth.
Creative director Ditte Reffstrup presented a butterfly as a new symbol, inspired by the process of metamorphosis that this insect undergoes as a metaphor for its evolution as a brand. GANNI has grown up and reflects it through this collection that includes nightwear pieces such as two-piece suits, dresses with sexy details and a neutral colour palette.
During the FW23 show, GANNI also presented its latest GANNI Bou bag. This accessory is made in Italy with an innovative fabric called OHOSKIN which is composed of a biological base that combines oranges and cactus. The GANNI Bou bag remains true to its commitment to phase out virgin leather from all products by the end of 2023.
For the FW23 show, GANNI collaborated with Copenhagen-born, LA-based stylist and creative, Veneda Carter, for a selection of jewellery made from Veneda’s signature gold. Featuring the iconic GANNI butterfly, the capsule includes a necklace, bracelet and earrings. She also collaborated with 66North for the more utilitarian and velvet looks.
