The single, which was released in anticipation of the producer’s second studio album, Hyperion, remains a continuous foray into a new territory for the artist, who had previously developed an atmospherically dark pop sound through various collaborations with The Weeknd.
The new music video directed by Warren Fu acquires a sublime futuristic atmosphere, transporting viewers to a world similar to that of TRON, where both perform alongside a CGI and special effects driven by the retrofuture.
