Givenchy takes us to a high-fashion trip through prints, vibrant colors, tailoring and motorcycling pieces in its new lookbook for the SS2020 Pre-Collection.
In the process of preparing her exhibition for the Pitti Uomo catwalk, Clara Waight Keller presents her new pre-spring 2020 capsule, inspired by the biker universe and Givenchy‘s jet-set traveller lifestyle.
This menswear collection includes classic tailor garments such as trenchs, blazers or tuxedo trousers to which avant-garde codes are applied through openings, superimposition of fabrics, electric colours or animal print graphics. In addition, there are motorcycling pieces such as reflective jackets or trousers with knee pads immersed in the range of neutral tones characteristic of the motor world.
But in SS2020 the aesthetic highlights come from the baggy trousers with camo print, the tracksuits in emerald green and the accessories belonging to the Givenchy Downtown range: a mixture of urban style and aristocratic elegance expressed through travell bags, maxi-bags or leather backpacks.
This new proposal by the iconic french house will arrive at Givenchy stores in July. Before, we’ll leave you a preview of the collection so that you can visually move to this new inspirational motorsport paradigm.
