Festival organizers Michael and Emily Eavis announced the news on Twitter. “…it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the Festival happen this year. We are so sorry to let you all down,” their joint statement reads. Those who have already paid their ticket deposit will have their ticket extended for next year. “We are very confident we can deliver something really special for us all in 2022!” the statement concludes.

If Glastonbury is cancelled it is clear that there are many cancellations to come.

A shame.
