GOLF WANG opens store in New York City

GOLF WANG(@golfwang) expands its retail business to New York. Finally, Tyler, The Creator’s brand will have a physical retail location on the East Coast. 

This new opening is the brand’s second physical location; the first is located on Fairfax Ave. Los Angeles, California. The New York location is located at 35 Howard St.; and although we haven’t been able to see many details of the interior for the short time it has been open, we know that it has all the identifying elements of GOLF WANG: box logo in yellow, sky blue carpet and elements of skate culture.

A month ago, the brand unveiled its FW22 collection, so it’s very likely that you’ll be able to see these pieces if you stop by the new store. And also, to celebrate the opening of the new spot, GOLF has collaborated with Jeff Hamilton on a leather jacket only available at the New York store. You can see it in the gallery above.

The Los Angeles store opened on October 26, 2017 to great acclaim and housed not only the original collection, but the GOLF le Fleur x Converse collaboration, which originated in Seoul. Now, it’s the turn to push the retail business in New York. Judging by what we saw on opening day, the artist will do very well in this new venture.
