Ten months and more than 1,300 hours of work went into creating the exclusive Tiffany & Co. crown of thorns worn by Kendrick Lamar at the last Louis Vuitton fashion show.
Named ‘Crown of Thorns’, the high-quality piece of jewellery is one of the most recognisable symbols of religious culture. It is crafted from highly polished titanium in 14 individual parts made up of 50 thorns and includes more than 8,000 micro-pavé diamonds that were hand-set in Italy.
“Kendrick Lamar represents the artistry, risk-taking creativity and relentless innovation that has also defined Tiffany & Co. for nearly two centuries,” said Alexandre Arnault. “We are proud and incredibly excited to work with a visionary like Kendrick to realise his vision for the crown.”
