FRIDAY 14TH OCTOBER
One more Friday, Razzmatazz turns into Fuego, the clubber’s answer to the urban music scene. This time, our trusted club hosts Jyoty, the Amsterdam, London-based DJ who burst onto the scene via Boiler Room and RinseFM, Red Light Radio or The Lot Radio. In his sets you can hear future beats, Hip Hop, Dance Funk, Garage, Afro and R&B. Get your ticket here.
Everyone knows that Picasso was familiar with African art and was inspired by it in the development of Cubism. But what about the other way round, what relationship can a contemporary African artist have with Picasso’s work? The Museu Picasso wants to answer this question with a monographic exhibition of the Cameroonian artist Barthélémy Toguo.
SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER
There are new dates for the Monumental Club Autumn 2022, on Saturday 15th October in the afternoon you can enjoy the performances of Chico Blanco, Meneo and Asia Knox. The events will also have a varied gastronomic offer for all tastes, as there will be a selection of food trucks with different proposals. Tickets here.
SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER
If you had any museum in Poblenou pending, this is yours. And if not, it’s yours too! From 14 to 16 October, up to 11 galleries, museums and showrooms in Poblenou will be open for free as part of the third edition of AR-DE, a circuit of the Poblenou Urban District. You’ll find everything from art and design to furniture, publishing and photography.
Teleporting to Makana, Porto, Manchester, Luanda, St. Louis, Ndola and London is easy at Say it Loud. Sampa the Great, an iconic rapper with hits like Female, and Throes+Shine, an electronic avant-garde that combines Portuguese and English traditions and a participant in the COLORS videos, will take the stage. The festival will be held from 16 to 22 October at Sala Paral-lel 62.
