One more week, from the HIGHXTAR team we are in charge of collecting the best plans to enjoy the weekend to the fullest. For all those without ideas… Pay attention, here are our weekly recommendations.

FRIDAY 21 OCTOBER

One more Friday, Razzmatazz turns into Fuego, the clubber’s answer to the urban music scene. This time, our trusted club hosts Chesney Wielemans, known as Hyalyte. The UK scene and global club music are his main influences, so don’t be fooled when you hear classic dub, a selection of dirty house or some disco hits in his set. Get your ticket here.

Berdache, the festival that reflects on gender identities and diversities, offers its first on-site edition from 18 to 29 October. L’Hospitalet de Llobregat will host the thirteen shows programmed in various disciplines such as poetry, theatre, dance, music and film.

SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER

The new edition of the 8037 Fashion Market will be held on October 22nd from 1pm to 9pm at Generator Hostel (Córcega 373). The fashion market with emerging designers, vintage clothes, second-hand clothes, natural cosmetics and jewellery celebrates its fourth anniversary with music sessions and surprises prepared for the attendees.

SUNDAY 23RD OCTOBER

La Pedrera delves into all the possible paths that abstract art took in the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition presents paintings by Spanish artists such as Tàpies and Saura that enter into dialogue with some of the leading representatives of international abstraction such as Mark Rothko, Alberto Burri, Willem de Kooning, Hans Hartung, Jean Dubuffet, Helen Frankenthaler and Jackson Pollock.
