If dog shoes are already something out of the ordinary, now Marcus Floyd of “Horse Kicks” wants to turn horses into sneakerheads.
Using the “deconstruction and reconstruction” he learned at The Shoe Surgeon’s SRGN Academy, the Lexington, Kentucky-based artist creates reinvented trainers custom-made for horses’ hooves.
This time, Floyd has prepared several styles for FW22 inspired by the fragment x Air Jordan 1 High design, Air Jordan 1 High “Court Purple”, adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Dazzling Blue” and Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650 “Green”.
Ten percent of sales will be donated to Sneaker Ball Lex where the collection will be auctioned on November 12th. Horse Kicks will be at this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships on 4 and 5 November.
The personalised shoes can be ordered on the Horse Kicks website from 24 October.
