Hot Mess, Noah Dillon and Luka Sabbat, have joined Maison Margiela to present a new campaign.
When Margiela got in touch with them about the collaboration, Sabbat says they “accepted instantly”, which doesn’t surprise us. Luka adds that “they are one of our favourite houses, having fused the line between art and fashion for decades”.
The alliance unites two of the most interesting projects of the starsystem: Margiela and Hot Mess (@hotmess). On the one hand Maison Margiela who has not stopped constantly shaking fashion, especially with the recent shows of creative director John Galliano who has completely broken the boundaries around gender roles. And on the other hand Hot Mess, formed by model, actor and creative Luka Sabbat and photographer Noah Dillon, who describe their project as a “creative platform to produce anything we think is great”.
“Noah has a long history of health problems, is continually in and out of medical offices, which inspired the content of the collaboration. The aesthetics of Margiela’s lab coat mixed with our knowledge of streetwear identity created what we feel is a perfect, seamless job.”.
