Video game fans are lucky. This new partnership between IKEA and Republic of Gamers aims to meet their needs, including everything from computers to ergonomic chairs to LED lights to illuminate the room.
Republic of Gamers (ROG) and IKEA aim to develop a new series of “affordable” furniture and accessories for playing video games at home.
“With years of experience in providing innovative gaming solutions to gamers, ROG has a deep understanding of the gamer community. Together with IKEA, the home furnishing expert, we envision that this collaboration will create synergies that will allow players to create the gaming space they’ve always envisioned in the comfort of their homes,” said Kris Huang, general manager, Equipment and Accessories, ROG.
Although it is not yet known which products will be on sale or the estimated prices, it is understood that the gaming furniture line will range from chairs, tables, desks, lamps, cable collectors and other accessories for daily use.
The range will initially consist of 30 items that will be launched first in China in February 2021 and then, starting in October 2021, will reach the rest of the IKEA stores.
