The winner of the LVMH Prize 2021 dedicated to new talents, Nensi Dojaka, presented her spring/summer 23 collection this weekend during London Fashion Week (LFW).
Despite being the first fashion show of the morning and taking place at 10am, there was not a single guest who missed the appointment with Nensi and did not want to sit in the nuclear white space that Dojaka had chosen for the occasion. Everyone decided to put on their dresses with slits to enjoy a very romantic but always sensual proposal, whose starting point was the use of lace, the shiny silver lurex textures and the flashes of pale pink and inventing new things with chiffon.
Sexy and sophisticated. These are the adjectives with which we would define the woman that N.D. proposes for the next s/s where the brand, despite offering the most sensual designs, continues to predominate for its masterfully crafted openings, its refinement and the impeccable construction of each and every one of the pieces.
The most eye-catching looks were the three evening gowns that closed the show, made in long, almost transparent chiffon, in beige, black and one in a combination of dark cranberry and pink; and the pink garments with heart-shaped details.
Many of the creations were inspired by 90’s grunge but despite this Nensi Dojaka managed to turn them into truly elegant pieces that are sure to become the absolute stars of the red carpets and the most chic events on the national and international scene. BRAVO!
