Issey Miyake’s New Balance MT10O have a release date

The first collaboration between Issey Miyake and New Balance debuted during the Paris Fashion Week runway. The silhouette is a reinterpretation of New Balance’s MT10 model – initially launched in 2011 – through updated and contemporary codes.

The new model, named MT10O, aims to mimic the natural shape of the foot, reducing the elements in terms of weight and height to give rise to a minimalist shoe that seeks to mimic a barefoot stride. The silhouette incorporates a Vibram outsole that ensures good grip and durability combined with a lightweight mesh upper in three different colour combinations: a teal, white and black.

The new MT10O model from New Balance in collaboration with Issey Miyake will initially be available in Japan from 15 May, and will then go on sale globally from 14 June.
