It’s official: The Jacquemus x Nike Air Max 1’86 is coming soon

The launch will feature three attractive colourways: monochrome silver, off-white and bright red.

Earlier this year, several (unofficial) images began to circulate of a possible collaboration between the French fashion house and the sports giant, paying homage to the iconic Air Max 1’86 silhouette. Now, five months later, the rumours are confirmed: Simon Porte Jacquemus has taken over these sneakers to elevate them as only he knows how.

The upper offers a very special contrast by combining mesh and leather panels, keeping the Air Max‘s signature sole but this time decorated with the unique Jacquemus logo in the heel area. The co-branded label is also present on the tongue area as a patch and on two hanging details that include a silver mini swoosh, as well as on the shoe’s lateral exterior.
