Javier Calleja, one of the most renowned international artists, joins forces with Rolls-Royce, synonymous with exclusivity and elegance in the world of motoring, to create a sculpture of the legendary ‘Ghost’, the brand’s most successful model.
AllRightsReserved, a Hong Kong creative studio that has worked with artists such as KAWS, Lawrence Argent or Florentijn Hofman; and with brands such as Chanel, Moncler, Givenchy or adidas, among many others, has chosen the Malaga-born artist to create the first artistic reproduction of one of the most desired and admired car models.
The result is ‘Untitled’, a limited edition pink sculpture (only six units will be produced) in which Calleja has left his mark with his trademark big-eyed characters that take over the bodywork of the car, resulting in a perfect symbiosis between Calleja‘s colourful and dynamic style and the elegance and robustness of Rolls-Royce.
‘No wings to fly’ by Javier Calleja
‘The Goddess of Ecstasy’, the famous figurine that presides over every car of the brand and the quintessence of the brand, has also been reinterpreted by Javier Calleja.
‘No wings to fly’ is a small metal sculpture in which a character with large, watery eyes, flushed cheeks and a mischievous smile, emulates the pose of ‘The Spirit of Ecstasy’. This unique piece will be given exclusively to those six people who purchase ‘Untitled’.
The international release of ‘Untitled’ , as well as ‘No wings to fly’, is today 3 November on DDTStore.com, AllRightsReserved‘s online emporium that sells artwork, limited editions and merchandise from international artists.
Ultimately, this historic three-way alliance demonstrates the innovative spirit of Rolls-Royce by bringing together one of the most prestigious and sought-after artists on the international circuit.
