Local designer Jeremy Scott has presented his SS19 in which vintage inspiration, neon colours, past graphics and crazy designs coexist with his most personal archive.
“This season for my show I took inspiration from old polaroids I took of myself from 1996 experimenting with make up and personas, gender bending looks and DYI hair styles I created on myself before I had a runway and models to express my inspirations and ideas for the world to see. ‘Meta Muse’.” he said about it.
Using his own archived images, Jeremy printed hoodies and other garments connecting the collection to his most individual past. Other prints such as the NBA logos or Pokemon walked the runway, mixing with pieces that prayed words like: “shock“, “sex” or “future“. A declaration of intentions and a return to the most original Jeremy, the Scott with the most pop aesthetic.
The aesthetics of racing soak up some of the pieces that are joined in this way to the increasingly consolidated trend of motocross trousers, etc.
Jeremy Scott SS19 | Future Shock
A much more mature Jeremy Scott, a solid and complete collection inspired by his own history, in SS19 he is his own muse.
