Junya Watanabe x New Balance make their PFW debut with the ‘1906 Loafers’

Junya Watanabe once again captured all eyes with his MAN FW24 collection, which redefined the men’s uniform based on experimental tailoring. In this disruptive proposal, Watanabe unveiled a series of exciting collaborations with key streetwear brands such as Carhartt and Palace Skateboards. However, here we will focus on his creative union with New Balance.

The Junya Watanabe Man x New Balance 1906 moccasin became one of the pieces that attracted the most attention for its perfect fusion between aesthetics and functionality. A hybrid trainer that features an upper that takes the form of a classic loafer in black leather and a penny toe cap segment. Technical contrast is introduced in the toe guards, midsole and outsole of the New Balance 1906 which finishes the design with a chunky look.

The Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 1906 Loafer is finished with a ‘Junya Watanabe Man’ label on the toe cap and a small NB tag on the side panel.
