Kanye West and adidas are at loggerheads again after the controversy generated by the Adilette 22. When it seemed that the tension between the designer and the brand had disappeared, the arrival of YEEZY Day has generated new problems.
In a message sent from Ye‘s personal account, he claims that adidas allegedly launched the long-awaited event, chose the models and materials, hired new team members and manipulated production information. All without his consent. And this is in addition to the controversy generated after the launch of the Adilette 22, an alleged plagiarism of the iconic Yeezy Slides.
According to the designer himself, YEEZY sales represent almost 70% of the German brand‘s sales. A very high figure which is not proven, but which would not be surprising considering the success these sneakers have achieved since their first launch.

And speaking of the West family… North could be YEEZY’s next collaborator.
