KITH has joined Nike to launch a special “Tokyo” Air Force 1 to commemorate the grand opening of their flagship store in Shibuya. Inspired by the famous launches of the legendary Nike Sportswear CO.JP typical of the early ’00, the “Tokyo” is a love letter from KITH founder Ronnie Fieg to Air Force and Japanese culture.
Conceptualized around the colors of the Japanese flag and built with top quality white leather, the design is full of incredible details. It should be noted that it follows the line of KITH’s colour palette, which is soft and unobtrusive. Although it is true that there is red, this one looks balanced with the play of white of the rest of the silhouette.
The bad news: like the CO.JP releases it was inspired by, the KITH x Nike Air Force 1 “Tokyo” will be launched exclusively in Japan on July 4th. The pairs will be available by appointment at the KITH Tokyo store, and their retail price will be €120.
