LEÏTI marks another milestone in his young, but ever evolving career as an artist with his first new work after 1 year and a half. His new singles come through the distribution of the powerful Argentinian label Dale Play Records, working with his own label Epiphany.
With SALMOS 23, which begins with an infectious chorus featuring new influences from WIZKID and TUPAC, LEÏTI portrays his own spiritual journey while focusing on the sadness, bewilderment and anguish towards a world where war and suffering are so present.
LEÏTI carries a message of hope and strength to his young generation: in the valley of the shadows you have to stay strong and keep believing, he says, because there is a truth to hold on to, which is eternal and does not depend on any kind of economic or political order that is imposed on us at a governmental level.
The sound draws from LEÏTI’s love of 50 Cent and hip hop, drawing on classic Stevie Wonder rnb and fresh inspirations from the afro swing of Jhus and Tems. “When you walk through the valley of the shadows that is the land where all are shadows and there is nothing you can trust, don’t get dizzy and don’t be afraid because God exists, the universe is with you and will conspire for the wishes of peace to be fulfilled”.
