Through a limited edition capsule collection, Levi’s pays homage to the Studio Ghibli classic that explores the boundaries between nature and humanity.
Denim jackets, printed trousers, graphic tees, hoodies and denim kimonos are some of the highlights of the Levi’s x Studio Ghibli collection. The motifs of the film ‘Princess Mononoke’ become the main emblem of the launch, representing the lush and exotic forests, rivers and animals of the universe created by Hayao Miyazaki. A true masterpiece that, with the passage of time, continues to gain in value among film and anime fans.
“More than 25 years after its release, Princess Mononoke continues to resonate deeply with audiences around the world as an icon of animation,” says Karyn Hillman of the Levi’s team. “It has been a real pleasure to collaborate with Studio Ghibli to create such a beautiful collection that pays tribute to this artistic and compelling masterpiece,” she adds.
The launch will take place on 10 August on levi.com and in the brand’s physical stores around the world.
