It’s no secret that fashion brings back icons and silhouettes from past eras every season. That’s why this season Levi’s® rescues from its archives some of those fits that set trends during the 80s and 90s.
The grunge and urban trend of the nineties takes over this autumn’s women’s collection. Wide proportions and bold textures. The combination of baggy jeans and tight, short tops makes it possible to play with different silhouettes. Thus, Levi’s® offers two new jeans: the Baggy Dad inspired by the 550 jean for men and the Baggy Boot, similar to the previous one but with a mid rise that sits on the hip.
For the men’s line, the brand finds inspiration in the reinvention of its archives. Classics such as the 501® Original and the 505 are combined with more recent models such as the 501® 93′ and the 551z. Also new is the launch of the wide-leg 50s Straight.
The tapered silhouette is back on trend thanks to the popular Stay Baggy and Stay Loose jeans; as well as the 501® Taper, very similar to its original version but updated with a slightly narrower effect.
