Denim is an integral part of the fashion landscape. Denim not only inspires designers around the world, it also influences the street style of who wears it and how they wear it, making denim style their own. Since its creation in 1873, the humble blue denim has remained timeless, versatile and hard to imagine a world without it. Certainly, this year’s Copenhagen Fashion Week showcased a number of denim trends.
From jeans and a white T-shirt to the monochrome style of denim on denim. Relaxed fits take over the streets, from the baggy but not too baggy Levi’s® 555™ to the new wide and oversized XL Straight. For more summery, easy-to-wear looks, jorts and high-waisted baggy shorts paired with denim skirts and jumpsuits complemented by boots come into their own for warm-weather dressing.
