Lil Nas X arrested for roaming the streets of Los Angeles in underwear

A video published by TMZ shows Lil Nas X walking along Ventura Blvd. in Los Angeles in the early hours. The artist was wearing only white cowboy boots and matching underwear. In the clip, he interacts with a passerby, inviting them to go to a party. He also threatens to throw a phone and places a traffic cone on his head.

Several people called the police to report the incident. According to authorities, when officers arrived, the musician charged at them. The officers handcuffed him and requested medical assistance. He was taken to a hospital for a possible overdose.

After receiving treatment, Lil Nas X, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested for assaulting a peace officer. According to Los Angeles County records, he faces a minor charge. After leaving the hospital, he remained in custody at Van Nuys jail.

This is not the first health issue the artist has faced in 2025. Earlier this year, he revealed on social media that he had facial paralysis. He showed that he could not move one side of his face, though he assured fans he was fine and that the situation was not serious.
