Louise Trotter joins Carven. Earlier this year, the artistic director left Lacoste after four years in which she had perfected the sporty-chic silhouette.
After four years at French brand Lacoste, Louise Trotter left her position as Creative Director of the brand in January to “pursue other activities”, which, according to Carven’s Instagram, will consist of creative direction in her company.
It is now at Carven, owned by the Chinese ICCF Group (Icicle Carven China France) since 2018, where the designer will be working. It will be at the summer edition of Paris Fashion Week in September when the designer will present her new collection, designed for Spring/Summer 2024.
“I am honoured to write a new chapter for Carven: a young French house that embodies for me a spirit of freedom, joy and confident femininity,” says the designer. “I hope to respect Madame Carven’s legacy by creating garments with a new simplicity that are both useful and beautiful, while respecting people and our environment.”
