After being among the most talked about tracks on Twitter, Lunay’s single “Un Ratito” hits YouTube, promising to shake up the summer. In addition to the partnership between Alok and Juliette, the single features Luis Fonsi and Lenny Tavárez, making this Brazilian-Caribbean blend a pop reggaeton with a lot of swing.
Lunay‘s “Un Ratito” is Alok’s first release for 2022 and the first time Juliette Freire has signed a music composition. Apart from the expressive figures of the five artists, who together reach more than 71 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. The track was started several years ago waiting for the best opportunity to be released and now comes its best version with the participation of great artists.
The song has a party vibe and speaks of flirtation and seduction, imbued with a dancing, solar and tropical energy. “When Alok invited me to participate in the song I could hardly believe it. It was an honour to record with one of the best DJs in the world. I think it’s very important to challenge myself, to do something different from what I’ve been doing. And that’s exactly what happened with this song. I hope people enjoy this piece of work that we made with a lot of love”.
In addition to Alok and Juliette, the team includes Luis Fonsi, Edgar Barrera, Oscar Hernández, OHYES, Rodrigo Rolando Mata Marrón, Julio Manuel González, Cristian Andrez Salazar, Jenifer Osorio Moreno, José Neto Abrantes, Jefferson Jr, Umberto Tavares and Kevin Daniel Brauer de Oliveira. Among the Puerto Ricans, Lunay is one of the emerging names on the rise, mixing reggaeton, trap and other Latin styles.

Juliette, meanwhile, is one of Brazil’s biggest revelations, holding the highest streams record for a release to date, with more than 5.9 million plays in the first 24 hours of releasing her debut EP. With more than 20 years of career, Luis Fonsi accumulates more than 18.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Today his worldwide hit “Despacito” celebrates five years of release.
