Heaven by Marc Jacobs has released the images of its latest campaign, and to everyone’s surprise, Ava Niuri has chosen the robot doll M3GAN to star in it.
The creepy AI-powered robot cements her place as the new model for Marc Jacobs’ Heaven sub-label, photographed by Harly Weir and styled by Danielle Emerson. M3GAN, who we saw in theaters earlier this year, wears a Deftones oversized hoodie, denim miniskirt and chunky platform boots in the ad, illuminated under a shivering red light.
The Gerard Johnstone-directed film became a sensation in theaters earlier this year grossing over $120 million at the box office, and as expected, a sequel is already in the works. It also went viral on TikTok, which has led to M3GAN landing her first modeling job, and who knows if we’ll continue to see her pose under the spotlight.
The collection has the collaboration of the brand Stray Rats, as well as the alternative metal band Deftones, and some of the celebrities that accompany M3GAN in this campaign are Tara Reid, Michael Imperioli and Sandy Liang.
