Mad Cool Festival announces the line-up for its next edition, which will take place from 6 to 8 July 2023 in Madrid, as always.
Californians Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the first confirmed headliners. Unclassifiable and unique, they continue to cross musical barriers. And what better way to celebrate their 40th anniversary than at this sixth edition of Mad Cool Festival.
Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, and their project The Black Keys, will be another of the stars of this new edition. Sharp riffs and anthems that perfectly blend rock and blues make them one of those bands that you have to see at least once in your life.
Another of the line-up surprises comes from Robbie Williams, who makes one of the stops on his ‘XXV’ tour at Mad Cool Festival. The American Lizzo confirms what will be her first performance in Madrid, promising big doses of catchy rhythms and hits like ‘Juice’ or ‘About Damn Time’. Also joining the new line-up are such important names on the current scene as Sam Smith, Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Nas X.
The nationals Delaporte will revolutionise the stage with their personal mix of electronic sounds and a lot of dancing; while The Blessed Madonna and Honey Dijon will be in charge of making us enjoy and dance in the night sessions with their DJ sets.
Rina Sawayama, the antithesis of traditional pop, joins the line-up which also includes the iconic The 1975, who will present their new album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’. Nova Twins will bring us the most revolutionary rock made in the UK: pure fire on stage and large doses of rebellion.
Another of the big confirmations is Queens of the Stone Age, who will land on the stages of Mad Cool with their stoner rock sound as a protagonist. Irish post-rock band Sigur Rós also join this first preview. Liam Gallagher will be in charge of bringing a good dose of nineties, while The Prodigy will make us dance with their electronic beats.
Once again this year, Mad Cool has become a musical and cultural reference, attracting international audiences and being one of the most renowned festivals of the moment thanks to its commitment and mix of different proposals.
The general ticket sale will start next December 15th at 11am through the Mad Cool Festival website.
