The fashion show of Marc Jacobs (@themarcjacobs) from his spring 2019 collection was a bubble of fantasy, starting with the designs, which dragged itself to the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere that gave off the whole show in general, as it started an hour and a half late.
Colours and garments shown were full of references of all kinds: from an 80’s Yves Saint Laurent, to the New York scene of the 50’s (especially with the yellow look of Kaia Gerber (@kaiagerber), to jazz musicians of the 20’s and even renaissance collars.

Thus, without synchrony, and with fabrics, themes and tonalities that had nothing to do with the previous ones, there followed a series of voluminous pieces that were clearly not suitable for everyday life. Close to pieces of art, as a whole, they turned the catwalk into a pure circus.
A Marc Jacobs that doesn’t evolve but doesn’t devalue either.
