Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley are expecting their first child

Acclaimed Australian actress Margot Robbie and her husband, British film producer Tom Ackerley, have announced they are expecting their first child. The news comes after a big year for Robbie after Barbie grossed $1.4 billion at the global box office and received eight nominations at the 96th Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

The couple met in 2013 on the set of “Suite Française” and married in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, in 2016. Sources close to the couple comment that they are both “absolutely thrilled” and that Robbie has been enjoying every moment of her pregnancy. The actress is expected to take a break from her work commitments to concentrate on her health and wellbeing.
