The iconic menswear shop Mini Shop celebrates its 20th anniversary of influencing Madrid’s streetwear scene with an exclusive dinner at one of the capital’s most unique venues.
Mini Shop is celebrating 20 years dressing some of the country’s most outstanding talents from Madrid and to celebrate it has organised one of the most talked-about events in the capital: a dinner for its most legendary clientele, which took place last night in one of the most unique places in the city, the Matador Club.
Since it opened its doors on Calle Limón to its current location in a designer venue in Plaza de Guardias de Corps, Mini Shop’s trajectory has been characterised by its ability to successfully mix consolidated brands and emerging trends in urban fashion, in a curatorial work that only the best experts are capable of doing. Proof of this is that it is considered by the specialised press to be one of the best men’s fashion shops in the world.
In line with this philosophy, the guest list has been drawn up. That is to say, young and old school talents in equal proportions were invited to Club Matador (Jorge Juan, 5), a mythical place and meeting point for creators in Madrid, to toast to another 20 years of influencing streetwear in the city.
To organise such an encounter, the legendary shop has counted on the collaboration of another Madrid pro, Mahou, a brand that, like Mini Shop, has always believed in the value of promoting quality encounters between people.
After a table dinner, which undoubtedly generated synergies that promise the most interesting collaborations in the future, such as the one that now unites Mini Shop and Mahou, the attendees were presented with a detail of the event: a cap designed by Anywhere with Mini Shop’s iconic ‘Peace and Love’ slogan. What happened next is history.
