Miu Miu and New Balance unveil the ‘530 SL’ luxury sneaker

The 530 SL sneaker has had a stellar projection on the internet even before the luxury brand’s upcoming runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

It is a design that fuses the aesthetic minimalism and sophistication of Miu Miu with the technology and performance of New Balance; resulting in a model made with a mesh upper and suede overlays that closes a double lacing system.

The new hyper-light version of Miu Miu x New Balance, which rests on an ultra-flat sole, comes in two colorways: a warm natural brown with orange laces and a classic white and navy blue, which are now represented in an official campaign starring Peris Adolwi, Julie Hoomans and Florine Wildeboer. The latter captures her models on a white background and crumpled sheets, interacting with the cell phone with the aim of recreating ‘stolen moments’.

The collaborative 530 SLs are already available in Tokyo, and are expected to expand worldwide soon.
