If the MM6 Maison Margiela brand’s motto is experimentation in both content and form, in its new season it has taken the axiom to its maximum exponent.
The MM6 design team has conducted a “study of sartorial mundanity”. The result? A collection that gives the impression of being completely finished, but if we look closely, we see that not quite.
The collection, where denim and synthetic leather predominate, experiments with imperfect textures and finishes. The basics of the brand, which are a must in every collection, this time experience an ingenious twist as we can see in the pleated and hemmed skirts and dresses. Likewise, we find patent leather finishes on shirt-trouser sets, cuffs, bags and pants.
The brand’s iconic Origami returns in large and small sizes. Among them, there is one in patent leather and another in synthetic sheepskin.
The brand has brought news in the collaboration unveiled a few weeks ago with Salomon. The Cross Low silhouette appears in white, black and blue and the Cross High model is also renewed with two new combinations: dark brown and denim blue.
