NAMESAKE presents its new collection “Black Sunlight” for the autumn-winter 2021 season in which it projects a deconstructed vision of today’s world.
The Taiwanese brand once again communicates the intergenerational language that characterizes it, imposing a twist on traditional silhouettes and patterns. Clothes are now the canvas on which it experiments with sustainability and recycling.
In this sense, the series is constructed from vegan leather and organic cotton fabrics transformed into contemporary outerwear. Comfortwear also features prominently in the capsule, whether in jumpers or outerwear jackets constructed from wool, mesh or dry yarn fabrics; a nod to this season’s agricultural motif.
Namesake includes other references that pay homage to basketball, such as the T-shirt in shiny knitted fabric, which converge in the same imaginary of unstructured pieces or oversized and/or fluid silhouettes.
