News & Coffe project arrives (at last) in Madrid

With a passion for paper media and coffee as its flagship, News & Coffe, a disruptive project born in Barcelona two years ago with the intention of reinventing the newsstand, supposedly obsolete after decades of suffering from the so-called “paper crisis”, has arrived in the city of Madrid.

Now that cities are slowly starting to come back to life, News & Coffee arrives in Madrid this September 2021 in the Plaza de la Cebada, in the heart of the mythical neighbourhood of La Latina. As always seeking to add to the sights of the neighbourhood, local artist José Antonio Roda has been commissioned to illustrate the kiosk.

Along with the idea of offering daily newspapers to the neighbourhood, the kiosk offers independent magazines (more than 80 titles, from 15 countries) for all tastes. From design to barbecue, imported live from the four corners of the globe, the idea is to offer magazines for everyone. The perfect complement to these readings, News & Coffee offers a speciality coffee to take away.
