adidas has just unveiled the official kit of the Japanese national football team designed by NIGO.
With less than a month to go until the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the teams are finalising the details. The Japan national team has just unveiled its official kit in collaboration with adidas and NIGO.
Inspired by the cherry blossom and following a minimalist colour palette in pastel tones, the Japanese designer has created the clothes that the athletes will wear in the competition. The traditional sakura mocho permeates the garments, imbuing them with Japanese cultural and historical values.
The collection consists of 12 pieces including T-shirts, shorts, tracksuits, socks, caps, hats and backpacks. The adidas logo is combined with the JFA logo and a cherry tree motif in the shape of a heart, as well as the OGIN signature engraved on the inside of the collar.
You can now pre-order the special Japan National Football Team collection, which will go on sale on 28 October.
