Nike begins selling used sneakers online

The sports brand has started selling used sneakers through its e-commerce as part of the expansion of its ‘Nike Refurbished’ initiative.

What started as a project that was limited to a few select stores of the brand has just gone global with the online launch of used sneakers. Returns, exchanges and purchase of footwear with minor imperfections with the aim of reusing them and giving them a second life. Before being classified according to their condition (new, slightly used or slightly imperfect), they are conditioned and cleaned by a team of Nike experts.
