Nike launches Ja Morant’s first sneaker: Nike Ja 1

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant will debut his first trainers in partnership with Nike this Christmas: the Nike Ja 1.

The shoe is launched in a light blue colour in the mesh and leather area. The Swoosh comes in lime green and red, while the outsole combines pastel pink and yellow. In addition, the Nike Ja 1 sneakers feature the Memphis Grizzlies player’s daughter’s name emblazoned on the inside half of the shoe.

Ja says he spent more than two years working on the design of his Nike. The athlete not only wanted them to look good aesthetically, but also to be functional. The sole of the shoe is designed to cushion the landing while maximising hang time for greater control.
