Oakley and Bodega reinterpret BXTR model

Oakley is in the midst of a flurry of collaboration launches, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop anytime soon. We’ve seen the brand team up with Palace, Satisfy, Brain Dead and FRAGMENT among others, and this time it joins forces with Boston and Los Angeles-based sneaker store Bodega.

Bodega recently shared a teaser on Instagram of this upcoming collaboration with Oakley. It centers around the BXTR model, a frame that pays homage to Baxter Street, a well-known skate spot in Los Angeles.

The release is scheduled for July 21 via the Bodega website. The collaboration features a modernized shield design and trigger stem, inspired by Oakley’s iconic Razor Blade sunglasses, but with a touch of contemporary styling that highlights individuality.

“With the Bodega x Oakley BXTR we use our first collab with the Big O to provide the key to a new world. One that has hidden in plain sight all along,” reads one of Bodega’s three Instagram posts.

On the other hand, Drake’s Nike NOCTA Glide arrives in six new colorways.
